Sara Kennedy is an American soprano from Austin, Texas. Celebrated for her rich, powerful sound and commanding stage presence, she is establishing herself as an important emerging artist in both traditional and contemporary repertoire. The 2025–2026 season marks an exciting period of growth for Sara, highlighted by her principal debut as Valencienne in The Merry Widow with Sarasota Opera, and the world staged premiere of Joseph Summer's The Tempest with Teatro Grattacielo. Earlier in the season, she made her Little Opera Theatre of New York debut as Bianca in Zemlinsky's Eine florentinische Tragödie.
